How to Add Father’s or Husband’s Name in Aadhaar Card Online?
Now you can update your father’s or husband’s name in your Aadhaar card using your mobile phone. For this, you need to use the official website of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India).

Aadhaar Update Process Online
Step 1: Visit the UIDAI Portal
Go to https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ from your mobile or computer browser.
Step 2: Login

Enter your Aadhaar number and the captcha.

Click on “Send OTP” and verify the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 3: Select ‘Name/Gender/Date of Birth & Address Update’

Click on “Update Aadhaar”.

Choose the “Name” option and enter your father’s or husband’s name.
Step 4: Upload Required Documents
You need to upload one of the valid documents listed below:

Passport

Marriage Certificate (for updating husband’s name)

Birth Certificate (for updating father’s name)

Ration Card (mentioning both your and father’s/husband’s names)
Step 5: Pay the Fee

Make an online payment of ₹50 using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Step 6: Receive URN and Track Status

After submitting the update request, you will receive a URN (Update Request Number).

You can use this URN to track the status of your update request.
